Fabricator Location: Type of position: permanent Working 0700 – 1600 (Monday-Thursday) and 0700 – 1300 (Friday), 40 hours a week We are now seeking to recruit Fabricator/ Welder for a busy manufacturing company based in Caldicot. The appropriate fabricator would be responsible for welding and fabricating of structural steel components to engineering drawings. Read and interpret Engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding. Operate various fabrication and welding equipment, including welding machines, cutting torches, vertical drilling, bending machines and grinders. Perform quality control checks to ensure fabricated components meet specifications and standards. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project completion. MIG & TIG welding. Carry out cutting, grinding, finishing, and any additional fabrication (machining, fitting, bolting) required to meet design tolerances Time served apprenticeship or similar in welding/fabrication Any relevant qualifications are a bonus Previous experience in using grinders, drills, oxy/acetylene cutting equipment, press brake, rolls will be required.
