We are seeking a highly motivated CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at AMCON Distributing Company. As a Class A CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our goods are safely and promptly transported to their destinations. Your role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service. This position offers a 4-day work week Tuesday through Friday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport products from the distribution facility to our retail partners.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
  • Verify and reconcile product quantities and quality with invoices and delivery documents.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with store personnel and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues or damage.
  • Follow established procedures for product returns and maintain accurate records of returns or rejected items.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, such as Class A or Class B.
  • Valid CDL DOT Medical Card
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Clean driving record with no history of major violations or accidents.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
  • Physical fitness to handle repetitive lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of products.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and verifying deliveries.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
