This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.</p> <p>This position is expected to run for approximately one year, with a high likelihood of extension and potential for longer-term opportunities based on business needs and performance.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will bring a passion for localization, translation, and PC gaming. Native proficiency in Filipino, both written and verbal, is required.</p> <p>You will be responsible for translating written materials with the utmost quality, including new releases, marketing materials, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing literature. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential, as there will be last-minute changes to source material. Strong organizational skills are a must to manage both short-term and long-term projects effectively while reprioritizing your workflow as needed. Emphasis in translation, localization, linguistics or game design a plus.</li> <li>Native proficiency in <strong>Filipino </strong>with exceptional grammar skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.</li> <li>Relevant prior gaming experience for accurately translating content in a gaming context.</li> <li>Experience in professional translation/localization work, games and technical translation preferred.</li> <li>Excellent organization and prioritization skills.</li> <li>A collaborative translator who enjoys working in a team environment and adjusts well to quick turnaround times.</li> <li>Experience working with computer assisted translation tools; Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados or Wordfast.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of different Operating Systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint).</li> <li>Passion for PC or console gaming. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with computer hardware, software development, or game design.</li> <li>Familiarity with game distribution platforms.</li> <li>Understanding and knowledge of different game genres and game discussion groups.</li> <li>Knowledgeable about different gaming hardware.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation Information </strong></p> <p>At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.</p> <p>For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is <strong>$29.80 to $36.05 USD/hour, </strong>with a <strong>midpoint of $32.93 USD/hour</strong>. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
