<h2>Overview</h2> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a proposal manager with a proven record of sucess to join their department of highly qualified proposal professionals.  Enjoy the benefits of joining a growing employee-owned company that takes care of its people.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Manages all activities involved in the development and revision of proposals.</li> <li>Facilititates the corporate proposal development process, working with operations units and other back office departments.</li> <li>Participates in pre-RFP activities: tracking action items, identifying past performance, organizing resources, identifying re-use material, developing relevant resumes and key messages</li> <li>Ensures section drafts are compliant, convincing, and compelling.  Provides guidance on such to writers.</li> <li>Plans, strategizes, and positions proposals, including developing win themes, best value propositions, strengths, and graphics.</li> <li>Conducts and participates in color team reviews.</li> <li>Managing the development and presentation of the proposal kickoff package</li> <li>Counsels and serves as main resource on all matters of a proposal nature</li> <li>Serves as interface to contracts, pricing, security, subcontracts, graphics, editing, and technical solutioning departments</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree</li> <li>10+ years managing proposals in a Federal IT & Engineering environment at large companies.</li> <li>Experience managing proposals on IT platforms such as SharePoint or VPC.</li> <li>Experience using automated tools and AI to aid in the proposal development process.</li> </ul> <h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $129,300.00/Yr. - USD $215,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
