Are you knowledgeable in both physical security and the rapidly evolving use of video surveillance technologies to gain business intelligence and operational efficiencies?</p><p></p><p>As Axis’ resident expert in the Retail market, the <b><span>Segment Development Manager, Retail </span></b>will lead the development and execution of strategic product, marketing, and sales initiatives that increase demand for Axis offerings in the Retail industry.</p><p></p><p><b>What you’ll do here as </b><b><span>Segment Development Manager, Retail</span></b><b>?</b></p><ul><li><p>Work closely with Marketing to build strategy and execute compelling campaigns</p></li><li><p>Build strong relationships with key customers, understand their unique needs, and advise them how to gain positive business outcomes using Axis technologies</p></li><li><p>Establish a presence and actively participate in relevant industry associations</p></li><li><p>Engage with media, contribute to blogs and articles, and speak at conferences, webcasts, podcasts, etc.</p></li><li><p>Stay current and provide guidance on government regulation impacting the Retail sector</p></li><li><p>Identify pressing customer needs and advise Engineering on the development of tailored solutions</p></li><li><p>Drive opportunities with new and existing Axis technology partners that complement and add incremental value to the Axis portfolio</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Product and Solutions teams to assist in sales cycles and increase their knowledge of the Retail industry</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who are we looking for/Who are you?</b></p><ul><li><p>Self-motivated and a team player</p></li><li><p>Excellent relationship building, written communication, and presentation skills</p></li><li><p>C- level Sales consulting</p></li><li><p>Fluent in public speaking and presentation</p></li></ul><p>​</p><p><b>We'd love to hear that you have/are:</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years in business development and Retail asset protection / loss prevention</p></li><li><p>Expertise in video surveillance, network audio, and access control solutions</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in developing business and channel partnerships for security solutions</p></li><li><p>Established network within Retail and security industries</p></li><li><p>A Bachelors or higher degree - highly preferred</p></li></ul><p>​</p><div><p><b>Physical demands:</b></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ul><li><p>Physical Demands:  Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.</p></li><li><p>Approximately 70% travel to client sites, industry events, and partner meetings.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Pay Range:</b></p><p>The approximate pay range for this location and position is<b> $165,000 - $190,000 OTE</b> <b>On Target Earning.</b> Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
