Cella is seeking a talented
  • *Senior Brand Packaging Designer**
for an ongoing opportunity with our client, a major American consumer health company with a portfolio of iconic, science-backed brands brands. The ideal candidate will be a packaging designer that has a lot of expertise with skin care (less beauty and fragrance).
  • *Responsibilities:
  • *Brand Design Responsibilities:
  • Develop packaging design intents, shopper toolkits, and master assets; guide regional adaptation while preserving core brand equities.
  • Ensure packaging meets regulatory, claims, and multilingual requirements with clear hierarchy and legibility.
  • Embed sustainability‑by‑design principles in partnership with Global Packaging teams.
  • Align work with overall brand strategy and Brand World guidelines to deliver cohesive brand expression.
  • Elevate the brand through clarity, craft, and consistency across packaging and shopper touchpoints.
  • Connect with Brand Building, Design Realization, internal teams, and external partners.
  • *Project & Workflow Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Brand Lead on project prioritization, resource planning, and design workflow improvements.
  • Co‑develop clear, actionable design intent briefs and contribute to efficient design processes.
  • Partner with the Design Project Manager to deliver projects on time and with excellence.
  • Manage multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Track and integrate creative and industry trends into packaging development or shopper assets e.g. POSM, toolkits
  • Work daily with Design Realization, adaptive designers, and print production to ensure output aligns with design intent.
  • Lead color/print feasibility, support remote or on‑site press approvals, and codify learnings into standards.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to address local regulations, languages, and supply constraints without compromising brand integrity.
  • Support printer/supplier visits, trials, and line validations as needed (light travel).
  • *Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of FMCG/CPG packaging design experience (in‑house or agency).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design‑to‑print excellence across substrates and processes, with understanding of end‑to‑end packaging development.
  • Proven ability to translate brand strategy into production‑ready design intents.
  • Expertise in color management, prepress, and proof/press checks.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with designers and agency partners.
  • Experience improving design workflows, standards, and systems.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and application to packaging.
  • *Desired Qualifications:**
  • Strong craft in visual identity, typography, layout, and storytelling.
  • Experience designing within regulated product categories.
  • Working knowledge of 3D visualization tools (C4D, Dimension, Blender, KeyShot) and annotation tools.
  • Passion for design excellence, innovation, and elevating brand experiences.
